I’ve been keeping a secret for a while. I’m having another *book* baby! The Improbable Existence of Life After Divorce is due March 12. I’m over-the-moon in love already!

In all seriousness, this book baby is long overdue. I began writing TIE of LAD in May 2020. The idea kept rattling around in my head and I jotted down some notes, but I didn’t begin really developing the story until late 2022. The beginning of 2023, something took hold of me and wouldn’t let go until I’d completed this novel. I wrote, “The end,” last February and had some amazing editors critique it for me. By mid-summer, it was ready!
But then came the tricky, sticky part. I’ve always self-published in the past and I really wanted to traditionally publish this one. There are HUGE differences in the two avenues! As traditional publishing dictates, I began sending out queries to several agents. I wish I could say I nabbed one, but I had no such luck. That was a major disappointment, and it left me sort of in limbo.
What to do?
Well, a few weeks ago, I decided that all signs were pointing to self-publishing. So, I finalized my cover, did one final round of proofreading, and set the date. And voila! It’s almost time for delivery!
Here in a few weeks, pre-orders will open for both the paperback and Kindle edition. Check back for more details on the story! This is my funnest write yet!
